Terms of use

Last updated: 21 September 2026. The French version prevails; this English version is provided for information only.

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of Apogée (the "site"), a DELF and DALF exam preparation platform published by Guillaume Lopez (the "publisher"). By creating an account or using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. Access to the service

The site offers free access, limited to part of the content and features, and full access. It is available, as is, to anyone aged 15 or over. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Some features require an account. The terms of full access (content, price, duration, cancellation) are set out on the Pricing page and will be subject to separate terms of sale, applicable when subscriptions open. Until subscriptions open, no payment is requested or possible. The publisher may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, without notice or compensation.

3. Account

Your account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from your account. One account per person. The publisher may suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach of these terms, abusive use or an attempt to harm the service.

4. Prohibited uses

You may not: copy, extract, distribute or resell site content (lessons, exercises, papers, corrections); access the site through unauthorised automated means; attempt to bypass access limits or security measures; submit unlawful, abusive or infringing content; use the site to cheat in an official exam.

5. Your content

The texts you write on the site (written productions, notes, answers) remain your property. You grant the publisher a limited, free, non-exclusive licence to store and process them for the sole purposes of the service, as described in the privacy policy. Your written productions are read by the publisher in order to be corrected; they are not transmitted to any third party. This licence ends when you delete your content or your account.

6. Corrections and assessments

Your written productions are corrected by the publisher, who reads them and replies. No artificial intelligence system is involved: the site uses none.

Exercises, the placement test and mock papers are corrected automatically, from the expected answers written by the publisher, and their scores are computed by the site. These corrections and results are provided as guidance to help you improve. They may contain errors and are neither an official assessment nor a prediction of your exam result. You may report a correction you believe to be wrong from the site, or at contact@apogeefrancais.fr.

7. No warranty

The service is provided "as is". The publisher does not guarantee that the content is error-free, that the site will be continuously available, or that you will pass an exam. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any indirect damage, data loss or loss of earnings related to the use or unavailability of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes the publisher's liability for gross negligence, fraud or personal injury.

8. Intellectual property

Site content is protected by copyright (see the legal notice). Access to the site grants you no right over this content other than a personal, private and non-commercial right of use for your exam preparation.

9. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Changes

The publisher may change these terms. The update date appears at the top. In the event of a substantial change, you will be informed by a message on the site or by email at least 15 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If you reside outside France, you retain the benefit of the mandatory protective provisions of your country of residence. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first by writing to contact@apogeefrancais.fr. Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rules applicable to consumers.
